Children

Children learn to move by themselves. Through random movements a newborn baby will map his body and train his muscles and so adopt specific movement- and behavioral patterns.

The child will also try to give meaning to the overwhelming amount of stimuli he receives. It is the task of the brain to process all these stimuli and to convert them into usable information and to leave out of ‘noise’. Yet this does not happen spontanuously or fully for every child.
For most children, this process happens spontaneously and autonomously.

But some children are not able to go through the above processes by themselves due to neurological, psychological or physical reasons. As a result, they do not achieve important development milestones, such as rolling, crawling, sitting and walking. Or in milder cases it may be that a child can not keep up with his peers in certain areas.

For various reasons, a childs process of learning and development can be derailed. The Anat Baniel Method puts the development of the child back in its tracks.

We work with children with a.o.:

  • Undiagnosed developmental delay
  • Cerebral palsy
  • Autism
  • ADD / ADHD
  • Brachial Plexus
  • Brain damage
  • Genetic disorder
